Major life changes can be incredibly painful and disorienting. Breaking points are those moments when life as we know it comes to a screeching halt. They often bring feelings of fear, uncertainty, and a loss of identity and perhaps even hope. It’s natural to feel overwhelmed, as these transitions force us out of our comfort zones and into uncharted territory.
I know this firsthand – my breaking point came when I decided to file for a divorce, and shortly after, lost my job due to the pandemic. Calling it a challenging time is an understatement – my whole world crumbled. But the truth is, it really did become the catalyst for my profound personal growth – it led to my own healing and spiritual journey, and after 3 years of deep inner work and transformation, with the support of my own coaches, I created inner dragon wisdom to help people turn breaking points into breakthroughs and guide them to activate their inner dragon power and wisdom, so they can suffer less and enjoy more.
Instead of viewing breaking points as setbacks, consider them a process of “spiraling up”. I know from my own journey that these moments present an opportunity to reclaim our power and redefine our lives. By shifting our perspective, we can begin to see the potential for positive change hidden within the chaos, and reinvent ourselves.
Here are a few practical steps on how to navigate life’s breaking points and turn crisis into growth:
embrace self-awareness: take time to reflect on your emotions and triggers. Understanding what you’re feeling is the first step toward healing.
stay present: focus on the here and now. Ground yourself in the present moment to avoid getting lost in anxiety about the future. This mindfulness will help you make clearer, more conscious decisions.
seek support: don’t hesitate to reach out to friends, family, or a coach. Surround yourself with people who uplift and guide you.
set aligned goals and take inspired actions: use this time to set new, meaningful goals that align with your true desires. Start with small, manageable steps to build momentum.
